Trump calls use of Twitter ‘modern day presidential’

admitted he’s not being presidential in his Twitter communications.

He, however, defended his aggressive use of the micro-blogging site as an alternative to the mainstream US media that spread “hate and false information” about him.

Trump made this disclosure after publishing his latest scathing criticism against the US media which has engaged him in an escalating feud since 2015.

He had tweeted: “My use of social media is not Presidential – it’s MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL. Make America Great Again!”

“I am thinking about changing the name #FakeNews CNN to #FraudNewsCNN!

“The FAKE & FRAUDULENT NEWS MEDIA is working hard to convince Republicans and others I should not use social media – but remember, I won the 2016 election with interviews, speeches and social media.

“I had to beat #FakeNews, and did. We will continue to WIN!”

Trump further posted on Twitter: “I am extremely pleased to see that @CNN has finally been exposed as #FakeNews and garbage journalism. It’s about time!” referring to an article that the global news channel retracted which claimed US lawmakers were investigating links between his administration and a Russian investment fund.

Three CNN journalists resigned over the article, which was posted on the network’s website on June 22 before being pulled down the next day.
