Brazil legend and former Barcelona star, Rivaldo has urged the Catalan club to forget about signing Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba.
Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to the La Liga champions this summer.
Rivaldo believes the France international is a fantastic player but admitted that Barca don’t need him in manager, Ernesto Valverde’s squad.
Express, UK, quoted Rivaldo as saying: “Lately there’s been speculation about Paul Pogba’s future, following the Manchester United midfielder’s misunderstandings with Jose Mourinho, and a potential transfer to Barcelona has been rumoured in the media.”
“Yes, Pogba is a good player but I don’t think Barcelona needs him.”
Pogba will captain United when they face Brighton in Sunday’s Premier League clash.
