England defender, Kieran Trippier, on Tuesday left the club to undergo Atletico Madrid medical in the next 48 hours.
According to Telegraph UK, the 28-year-old was given permission by Tottenham to travel to Spain to complete £20million move from Spurs to the La Liga giants.
Trippier was left out of manager, Mauricio Pochettino’s squad that will travel to Singapore on Wednesday for their Asia pre-season tour.
The right-back has also drawn interest from Juventus and Napoli in recent weeks.
He is expected to replace Juanfran in manager, Diego Simeone’s squad next season.
