Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has taken a swipe at German club, Bayern Munich for showing interest in the club’s youngstar.
Sarri branded the club as ‘disrespectful’ for their relentless pursuit of Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The teenager has been the subject of four bids from the Bundesliga giants, who are also said to have offered the highly-rated winger their iconic No.10 shirt.
After criticising his performances earlier this season, Sarri had promoted Hudson-Odoi to his starting line-up for the last two matches in an apparent bid to convince the player his long-term future lies at Stamford Bridge.
Bayern’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic earlier this week, confirmed their interest in the England youth international which has prompted an angry response from Sarri.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s match against Newcastle, Metro UK quoted Sarri as saying, “I think it is not professional. They are talking about a player under contract with Chelsea, so they didn’t respect our club I think. I am very happy with the player, he is improving a lot.
“He needs to move in some moments without the ball. I would like to have him in the future.”
