Transfer: Sarri speaks on Hazard, Willian, Courtois

Chelsea coach, Maurizio Sarri, has said he would like speak with Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Willian face to face to discuss issues concerning their futures at the club.

Sarri spoke shortly after Chelsea defeated Perth Glory 1-0 in their first pre-season game at the Optus Stadium in Australia on Monday.

Whilst Belgium duo Hazard and Courtois are being linked with a move to European champions, Real Madrid, Brazil winger, Willian Borges is being chased by Barcelona.

Barcelona want to recruit Willian after missing out on the signature of Antoine Griezmann and have reportedly launched a bid for his services.

”I’d like to talk to a person face by face. It doesn’t depend only on me, I am confident.

“I don’t like to talk to the person by telephone. I don’t know, it depends on the club. It is clear from me that it is a pleasure to have Courtois, to have Willian, to have Hazard. But it doesn’t depend on me. So we have to wait. I am confident.”

Asked when he will get the chance to speak to the players face to face, he added, “Face to face, I think at the end of the month because I think they will arrive to Cobham at the end of the month.”
