Real Madrid top forward, Gareth Bale, has received a transfer offer from a club in the Chinese Super League, CSL, that would see his current Los Blancos’ wages of 480,000-a-week doubled.
According to El Chiringuito, the CSL club, whose name was not mentioned, offered Bale a £960,000-a-week wage to lure him to the club.
The newspaper is also reporting that Real Madrid are keen to sell Bale to raise funds to sign Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, this summer.
DAILY POST had reported that Bale is surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu, following Zinedine Zidane’s return as manager.
The Wales international was among the eleven players Real Madrid want to sell in this summer’s transfer window.
The 29-year-old is under contract with the La Liga giants until 2022 and has won four Champions League titles at Real Madrid, as well as one La Liga crown.
Bale left Tottenham Hotspur in 2013, when Real Madrid made him the world’s most expensive footballer at the time, with an £86million transfer fee.
