Barcelona have met with Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba to discuss a possible transfer.
According to Tuttosport, the World Cup winner reportedly met with the LaLiga club’s technical secretary, Eric Abidal, in Los Angeles a few days ago.
Pogba has reportedly indicated that he wants to leave Old Trafford, but United are in a position of strength, as he is under contract until 2021.
Speaking to the media after their 2-1 win over Real Madrid on Wednesday, United manager Jose Mourinho, listed the players that would return early to join the squad.
But he made no mention of Pogba, Jesse Lingard or Marouane Fellaini.
“In a few days we go to Munich and in 11 days we start the Premier League and these are the players that we have, plus (Victor) Lindelof, that started training two days ago.
“Plus Marcus Rashford, (Phil) Jones and (Romelu) Lukaku because they gave to the group and to the team three days of their holiday so they’re coming back three days early to try and be available for the team,” Mourinho said.
