Nigerian striker, Ayodeji Sotona, has finally signed a new one-year deal with Manchester United as reported by Allnigeriasoccer.

Sotano was part of the academy players that traveled to Austria for a training camp, which ended last weekend.

He will now become a first-year scholar at Old Trafford next season.

The 16-year-old did not follow in the footsteps of another Nigerian, Tosin Kehinde, who opted to leave Old Trafford last summer because there were no guarantees he would break into the first team.

He made his competitive debut for Man United’s U18 side against Newcastle United back in March this year.
