Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has confirmed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed for the club.
Wenger revealed this after his side lost 3-1 at Swansea City on Tuesday night.
Aubameyang arrived at the London Colney earlier in the day, to thrash out terms on a £180,000-a-week deal ahead of his £60m move from Borussia Dortmund.
A reporter asked the Gunners boss: “Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is an Arsenal player, you must be delighted to get the deal done?”
Wenger replied: “Yes, it is good news. We need people who can give us more offensive power.
“At the moment, we aren’t enough going forward and I am convinced he will give us that.
“He has a big challenge in front of him. He wants to do well in the Premier League.
“It is absolutely good news for us.
“His pace, his finishing. The quality of his runs. His huge physical capacity, that will be important in the Premier League.”
