Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has claimed “nothing is happening” in his pursuit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang has emerged as Wenger’s prime target to replace Alexis Sanchez, who is heading for Manchester United.
Dortmund CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke, has already confirmed the Gunners have sent in an offer, but Wenger refused to comment on those claims.
“Aubameyang no, nothing is happening,” he told the BBC after the win over Crystal Palace.
“He can be left out of the Dortmund team for different reasons, certainly not for transfer reasons at the moment.
“January has been difficult for us, destabilising. We have had big players concerned with moving away which causes uncertainty.”
