Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has given the club’s Vice Chairman, Ed Woodward list of his two priority signings for the remainder of the summer transfer window.
United ended last season as second best in the Premier League and lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup final, but the Portuguese needs to challenge for trophies next season.
The Red Devils have already secured a deal for Brazilian international – Fred earlier in the month and also signed Portugal U21 star, Diogo Dalot from Porto. Mourinho has stated last season that any club without a Brazilian was incomplete.
The former Real Madrid manager, still hoping for United to clinch a few more signings, has told Woodward that he wants to see a new centre back and left back arriving the club.
The former Chelsea manager has made Tottenham’s Belgian star Toby Alderweireld his top target but the deal will not be finalised until he returns from the World Cup.
The news outlet also reports that Mourinho has also told Woodward that Gareth Bale should be recruited from Real Madrid, although a deal would be difficult to complete.
