A former managing director of Juventus football club, Luciano Moggi has laughed off reports linking Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo with a move to join the Italian champions this summer.
Ronaldo, having hinted that his future could lie away from the Santiago Bernabeu, transfer talk has built steadily since the 2018 Champions League final.
But Moggi, however, said that it will be wrong for Juve to get the 33-year-old for €30million salary.
“It makes me laugh,” Moggi told Sportitalia of the Ronaldo rumours.
“Juve’s problem is not Ronaldo, it’s putting together the defence and the midfield.
“For me they would be wrong to get Cristiano with a €30 million salary.
“Everyone should remember that I had a deal to buy him as a kid, Ronaldo, but [Marcelo] Salas said no, so it didn’t happen.”
