Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has spoken on midfielder, Emre Can’s move to Juventus and Manchester City.
Can, who has been linked with Juve and City, scored the opener in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Huddersfield on Tuesday night.
Klopp admits that his relationship with the German international will end amicably if he does indeed leave Liverpool in the summer.
The Anfield boss added that the transfer speculation meant nothing as long as the 24-year-old keeps performing on the pitch.
Speaking about Can, Klopp told reporters after the match: “As long as he [Can] plays like this it doesn’t matter.
“He was not too good in the last game so I had a choice of which player should stay on the pitch, but he paid me back which is nice.
“Sometimes you want to sell a player or buy a player… but as long as people behave like Emre now and delivers, then everything is fine.”
“If he goes we shake hands and say goodbye and if he stays we shake hands and say hello again,” Klopp said.
Can, who has been at Liverpool since the summer of 2014, will be out of contract come the end of the season.
