Transfer news: Klopp reveals Liverpool’s plan on replacing Philippe Coutinho

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has promised to do ‘a lot’ in the transfer market.

Klopp, however, warned the club fans that they will have to wait to see a replacement for midfielder, Philippe Coutinho, who joined Barcelona for £142million earlier this month.

Speaking ahead of Liverpool Premier league clash against Huddersfield on Tuesday, Klopp told reporters: “Philippe Coutinho is not to be replaced in this transfer window.

“We have to stop thinking about it. It’s not about replacing anybody. It’s about using our own opportunities, tools, players, tactics, all that stuff.

“We need results to reach our targets but the solution is not out there in the transfer market.

“We have to use our players. Long-term we will do a lot (in the transfer window). In the short term, I don’t think we will do a lot.”
