Transfer news: Jurgen Klopp to sell Ronaldo when he takes over as Real Madrid boss

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has reportedly told Real Madrid he will sell Cristiano Ronaldo if he is appointed as the next manager of the club.

Klopp could be heading to Real Madrid following Zinedine Zidane’s shocking departure last week.

Zidane had, despite winning three Champions League titles on the trot, sensationally chose to quit due to exhaustion.

Klopp has since emerged as a candidate, despite the Liverpool boss still having much to prove on Merseyside.

Spanish outlet, Diario Gol reports that if he takes over, he has told Real he will let Ronaldo go.

Ronaldo, 33, appears to be angling for a sensational exit.

Speaking after Real beat Liverpool to win the Champions League last week, he said, “In the next few days I will give an answer to the fans that have always been on my side.

“It was very nice to be at Real Madrid, in the coming days I will talk about it more.”

Manchester United are spearheading a list of potential suitors with Ronaldo reportedly keen to return.

The newspaper said Klopp will not block any exit if the Portugal star demands it.
