Manchester United manager has dropped French star, Anthony Martial from the squad that will face Bayern Munich.
Metro UK reports that the development places further doubt on the player’s future at Old Trafford.
Martial is heavy linked with a move to Chelsea in a swap deal involving Willian.
The former Monaco star left United’s pre-season tour at the United States last week to be present at the birth of his son with his partner Melanie Da Cruz.
He was reportedly fined two weeks’ wages by the club for failing to report back to training.
He later revealed that he had remained in Paris due to complications with the birth and insisted that “family always comes first.”
Mourinho was unhappy with Martial for not returning to the United States for the final days of their pre-season tour.
