Manchester United have moved closer to signing Bruno Fernandes after agreeing a £62million fee with Sporting Lisbon, Correiro Dello Sport reports.
The Portugal midfielder is now expected to fly into the UK for a medical this weekend.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Fernandes as a key transfer target, while he also wants Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to complete his midfield.
Fernandes impressed for Sporting Lisbon in their 2-2 draw with Liverpool in a pre-season friendly, scoring the first from range before setting up the second.
He came to attention after a stunning season in Portugal, hitting 32 goals and registering 18 assists for his club.
