Transfer: Mandzukic’s move to Man Utd set to collapse after Dybala snub

Manchester United’s move to sign Mario Mandzukic is in doubt after the club pulled the plug on a deal for Paulo Dybala, according to the UK Guardian.

Juventus are keen on signing Romelu Lukaku and had offered Dybala as part of the deal.

On Sunday, reports claimed that United were closing in on the signing of Mandzukic after agreeing a three-year contract worth £120,000 a week.

But it is now believed that United “will struggle” to complete their deal for Mandzukic if Juventus failed to sign Lukaku.

The Serie A champions are “unlikely” to allow Mandzukic leave if a replacement is not signed.

They could also be forced to restructure their offer for Lukaku if United fail to agree terms with Dybala.
