Manchester United’s transfer fixer, Matt Judge, has flown to Spain to try to finalize a £35million deal with Barcelona for Yerry Mina.
The UK Sun reports that Judge is attempting to sort out the fee and meet with Mina’s agent, Felipe Russo.
United have been trying to bring in a central defender all summer and have turned to the Colombia international, after being priced out of top targets such as Leicester defender Harry Maguire.
United boss Jose Mourinho has now given the green light to a bid for Mina, 23, after Judge met with him in America to discuss alternative targets.
Barca are believed to be willing to sell Mina and have dropped their initial £44m valuation.
