Transfer: Manchester United finally ‘agrees’ personal terms with Tottenham midfielder

Manchester United are set to sign Tottenham Hostspur midfielder, Toby Alderweireld after ‘agreeing’ personal terms with the 29-year-old.
United have been pursuing the Belgium international throughout the summer but have widened the net in recent times after the initial failure to agree on a fee with Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy.
According to Bleacher Report, Alderweireld is edging closer to signing with the Red Devils after agreeing personal terms with the Old Trafford club.
The report also claimed that United boss, Jose Mourinho views Leicester City’s Harry Maguire as a gamble and would prefer having Alderweireld in his backline.
United will kick off their 2018/19 season on Friday when Manchester United host Leicester City at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
