Transfer: Manchester United complete signing of Polish defender, Bejger

Manchester United have completed the signing of Poland U16 captain, Łukasz Bejger.

Manutd.pl. reports that the Red Devils are on the brink of announcing the capture of the teenager after he successfully passed a medical examination on Saturday, July 28.

Bejger has been linked with a transfer to Old Trafford after undergoing trials with the club in August 2017 and it was thought the deal had collapsed after they announced their new scholarship intake for the new season without including the Pole.

He will become the second Polish player to wear the jersey of Manchester United in recent seasons, following the footsteps of goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

The youngster is a versatile defender who can equally play as a central defender, right-back and defensive midfielder.

He moves to Manchester United from Lech Poznań.
