Manchester United women captain, Alex Greenwood has completed a switch to Lyon.
Greenwood made 27 appearances for the club, scoring five goals in all competitions last season.
A club statement added, “Manchester United can confirm that our women’s team captain Alex Greenwood has completed a move to Lyon.
“The England international full-back wore the armband during our inaugural season under Casey Stoney, as we gained promotion to the Women’s Super League by winning the FA Women’s Championship title.
“Greenwood made 27 appearances, 26 as a starter, and scored five goals in all competitions during 2018/19.
“Everyone at the club would like to thank Alex for her efforts and wish her the best of luck for the future.”
