Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has agreed to pay Chelsea’s asking price for Willian after Barcelona opted for Malcom. Chelsea star, Willian is on a list of transfer targets by Mourinho for the remaining weeks of the summer window.
The Brazil star worked under the Portuguese during his time at Chelsea.
Willian was also being chased by Barcelona, but the Catalan giants opted out of the deal and have since decided to sign Malcom from Bordeaux.
Chelsea priced Barcelona out of a move for Willian and have set a £62m price for the 29-year-old.
Spanish sports outlet, Mundo Deportivo reports that Manchester United are willing to sign the forward, with Mourinho hellbent on adding to his squad.
Mourinho has wanted a right winger all summer with top target, Gareth Bale, primed to stay at Real Madrid.
