Manchester United have given Inter Milan seven days, to meet their £75million asking price for Romelu Lukaku, the UK Mirror reports.
Inter manager, Antonio Conte, is desperate to land the Belgian striker this summer.
However, the negotiations have dragged on for so long and Old Trafford chiefs are wary of being hit by the Premier League’s August 8 transfer deadline.
United will not sanction the departure of any senior player, unless the deal gives them enough time to recruit a replacement.
Although, they are willing to let Lukaku go to Inter, it would only be if the price is right.
Inter have had a £54m bid rejected for the former Chelsea and Everton forward.
An offer to take Lukaku on loan for the season, including an obligation to make the transfer permanent, has also been dismissed.
