Manchester United’s offer of £31million for 21-year-old midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has been rejected by Sporting Lisbon, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
DAILY POST had reported that Fernandes was among a three-man shortlist that Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, wants to sign this summer.
Solskjaer is eager to bolster his squad ahead of next season after his side finished the season in the sixth position on the English Premier League (EPL) table.
Fernandes has scored 32 goals and provided 18 assists in 53 appearances for Sporting this season.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of attacking midfielder, Pablo Sarabia from Sevilla in a deal worth over €20 million.
The Ligue 1 champions made the announcement in a tweet on Tuesday morning.
PSG wrote: “We are delighted to announce @Pablosarabia92, the 27-year-old attacking midfielder from @SevillaFC_ENG, has signed a five-year contract with @PSG_English!”
