Experienced Liverpool’s defender, Dejan Lovren, is set to leave the Champions League winners for Italian giants, AC Milan, according to Calciomercato.
Milan have held meetings with representatives of Liverpool defender Lovren over a potential deal for the Croatian.
The centre-back has become increasingly frustrated owing to lack of consistent first-team football at Anfield.
However, a potential hitch to his departure lies in the fee that Jurgen Klopp’s side are demanding for their top defender.
Liverpool want a sum in the region of €25m for the Croatian star.
Milan are desperate for defensive reinforcements, following the exit of Colombian stopper Cristian Zapata.
Mattia Caldara has also been absent due to long-term injury, leaving just Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Musacchio as only available options.
