It is believed that Liverpool and Inter are still contenders to sign the Ivory Coast international.
The Gunners are prepared to break their transfer record to bag the Ivorian with £72m.
However, other clubs have made similar offers and Pepe will decide which team he will play for this week.
Unai Emery’s team are understood to be in pole position for his signature.
