Transfer: Liverpool beat four clubs to sign EPL record-breaking midfielder

Liverpool have won the race to sign Premier League record-breaking midfielder, Harvey Elliott ahead of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saints-Germain and RB Leipzig from Fulham.

According to the Telegraph, the reigning UEFA Champions League holders have agreed on a transfer deal with Fulham for Elliott’s signature.

The newspaper is reporting that the Reds won the race for the England youngster after he made his decision to leave the Championship club this summer for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The report added that Elliott will sign a professional three-year contract with the Anfield club when he turns 17 in April 2020.

Elliott is currently the youngest player ever to have played in the English Premier League, EPL.

The 16-year-old became the youngest player ever to appear in the English top-flight league in May 2019 when he came on as a late substitute against Wolves.
