Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi, has welcomed the possible arrival of Crystal Palace’s wantaway star Wilfried Zaha.
Zaha is said to be keen to quit Selhurst Park this summer, with the Gunners strong admirers.
Palace have already sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United in a deal rising to £50million and is unlikely they will want to lose the Ivorian winger.
Arsenal have now stepped up their pursuit for the former Manchester United winger, while the Gunners are also keen on signing former Atletico Madrid star Yannick Carrasco this summer.
And Iwobi does not feel threatened by rumours the Gunners will recruit in his position, insisting he would welcome either player should they sign for the North Londoners.
“I don’t have any idea of going anywhere else, I’m an Arsenal player.
“For a big club like Arsenal, you mentioned two great players so it will be exciting to have them.
“I don’t know anything that’s going on behind closed doors,” Iwobi told Goal.
