Transfer: How Man Utd plan to hijack Barcelona’s move for Griezmann

Manchester United are preparing to hijack Barcelona’s deal for Antoine Griezmann, the UK Sun reports.

The Red Devils are prepared to offer more money to the Atletico Madrid forward, in case his move to the Nou Camp collapses.

United are desperate to make a statement signing with Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku set to leave the club.

It is believed Griezmann is willing to wave goodbye to Champions League football for at least one season.

Barcelona are currently focusing their attention on trying to re-sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain. The LaLiga champions are willing to let Philippe Coutinho move in a part-exchange for the Brazil interantional.

United are using this distraction for Barca, as a way of luring Griezmann to Old Trafford and trying to convince the World Cup winner that the Catalan giants will walk away from a deal if they sign Neymar.
