Villarreal forward, Samuel Chukwueze has reacted to reports linking him to Liverpool.
The winger, who is currently in Super Eagles camp for the African Cup of Nations in Egypt, insisted that he was not distracted by the speculations.
Chukwueze had an impressive season for the Yellow Submarines scoring 8 goals in 38 appearances for the first team in all competitions.
Liverpool and Manchester City have been reported to be pushing for the signature of the 20-year-old.
Chukwueze told Tribalfootball, ”I just keep my head focused on my career. I don’t want any distraction from my football. Coverage in the media is good but my focus is on my football.
“I just want to keep on working hard and continue to improve. Me generating coverage in the media does not get into my head.
”This is just the beginning and I know my target and my focus is to achieve the target.”
