Southampton have signed a new contract with Nigerian youngster, Nathan Tella.
The Premier League club made this known in a statement through the club’s official website on Sunday.
Tella signed a new one-year contract that will keep him at the Saints until June 2020.
This is coming after Southampton signed a contract extension with Nigerian defender, Oludare Olufunwa, last month.
Speaking after signing a new deal with Southampton, Tella told the club’s official website: ”I have been here from a young age and the club have nurtured me into the player and person I am today.
“The manager has given everyone motivation, with the trust he shows in young players. It’s a realistic target to make the first-team, and that’s the incentive to get my head down and work hard next season.”
Tella joined Southampton from Arsenal in 2017.
