Romelu Lukaku has claimed that Inter Milan are the only club he wanted to leave Manchester United for, after completing a deadline day move.
Both clubs agreed a fee of £73million and Lukaku has put pen to paper on a five-year contract.
The Serie A side made Lukaku their No.1 transfer priority this summer, with Antonio Conte having tried to sign the striker while at Chelsea.
Juventus looked set to rival their Serie A rivals for the Belgian’s signature and even suggested a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala.
But that move broke down and Inter reignited their interest in the final days of the window.
“Inter were the only club I wanted, because Inter is Not For Everyone.
“I’m here to bring the Nerazzurri back to the top,” Lukaku said in a short video uploaded on the club’s official Twitter feed.
