Arsenal playmaker, Mesut Ozil, is set for talks over a move to DC United if he agreed to an unlikely business deal.
According to The Athletic, the proposed switch might only materialise if he could strike a deal to open a coffee shop in the US capital.
Ozil owns a company called 39 Steps Coffee, with three branches in London and he is believed to be keen to open a branch in the US, potentially at the DC United’s Audi Field.
Whilst he will also need to agree terms over his high salary and make a big decision over his career prospects, the business deal could be an intriguing side-plot.
DC United are believed to be set to talk to Arsenal chiefs regarding a move for Ozil next week.
