Nigerian born Chelsea forward, Tammy Abraham has finally left the club on a season long loan to Aston Villa.

The English Championship side confirmed the deal on Friday.

The 20-year-old heads to Villa Park off the back of a season long loan with previous club Swansea City.

He scored eight goals in all competition – including five in the Premier League.

The player told Villa official website, “I’m excited for this new chapter.

“Aston Villa are a big club that belongs in the Premier League and I’m here to help them achieve that.

“At this stage of my career, I need games and this is a great place for me to come and showcase my talent. I can’t wait to get started.”

Abraham joins Yannick Bolasie, Anwar El Ghazi and Andre Moreira as the club’s new additions this summer.

He could make his debut for Villa during this weekend’s meeting with Sheffield United.
