Chelsea defender, David Luiz has said that team-mates, Willian, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois will stay at the club despite transfer interest linking them away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
Willian has been linked with a move to Barcelona, with the Spanish champions desperate to sign the Brazil international and have had three bids reportedly rejected by Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Hazard and Courtois have been heavily linked with a move to join Real Madrid.
Luiz , however, disclosed that the trio will stay at the West London club, adding that the Blues can’t afford to lose them.
British outlet, Express, quoted Luiz as saying: ”We speak almost every day, they love playing for Chelsea, I don’t let them go! I think they’re going to stay.
“I think that the press sell the players every single year. They buy players, they sell players.
“I hope the trio (Willian, Hazard and Courtois) can stay because they are fantastic players, fantastic talents and we need the best players in Chelsea.”
Meanwhile, Willian, Hazard and Courtois played no part in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Perth Glory in Australia on Monday.
The trio remain on holiday following their involvement in the 2018 FIFA World Cup for their respective countries.
