Danny Welbeck has signed for Watford, following his departure from Arsenal at the end of last season, the BBC reports.
The 28-year-old who has 42 caps for England, has moved to Vicarage Road on a three-year deal, after a long road back to full fitness.
Welbeck has been out since last November, after suffering an ankle injury.
It is a big coup for Watford, as Everton and Newcastle were also interested.
Welbeck will have a lower base salary with a number of performance-related bonuses, in order to provide protection against any further injury problems.
By signing up for the Hornets, he has become their fourth permanent signing of the summer, following in the footsteps of Craig Dawson from West Brom, Tom Dele-Bashiru from Manchester City and Sam Dalby from Leeds United.
