Transfer: Cristiano Ronaldo speaks on jersey number at Juventus

Former Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken on the shirt number he’ll wear at his new club, Juventus.

Juan Caudrado currently wears the No.7 shirt for the Old Ladies.

Recall that the former Real Madrid superstar was pictured on Monday in Juventus training kit for the first time as his move from Real Madrid edges closer to completion.

The Portugal captain flew into Turin yesterday evening as Juventus geared up to present him as their new £88m (€100m) signing.

The former Manchester United star is having a medical before he is unveiled at the Allianz Stadium later in the evening.

Ronaldo has branded the No.7 shirt at Real Madrid and Manchester United with the name “CR7” which clubs are expected to respect.

“Shirt numbers shouldn’t be big deal for a professional football star. I’m one. But the club will see to that. Later, you’ll find out what jersey No I’ll wear. May be 99. It does not matter,” Ronaldo told reporters at the Alianz.
