Transfer: Courtois’ agent tells Chelsea what to do over goalkeeper’s Real Madrid move

Christophe Henrotay, the agent of Chelsea goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has told the club to let his client move to Real Madrid.

Henrotay told the Blues to accept an offer from Real Madrid after revealing the Belgian has requested he wants to leave Stamford Bridge.

Courtois has entered the final year of his deal at the Stamford Bridge and has intimated that he will walk away for free next summer if he’s not allowed to join Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old has had his heart set on a return to Spain for the last 12 months as his children currently reside in Madrid.

The Belgian’s agent has revealed that he has asked Chelsea to accept Madrid’s offer.

“I have been reading everywhere that Chelsea are saying it is up to Thibaut, but he has made it clear to the club that the best option for him is to move to Madrid,” Henrotay told the Sun.

“For him, this is a big decision because he wants to be near his family, and there is an offer in place for Chelsea to accept.”
