Transfer: Conte’s agent speaks on Higuain joining Chelsea, gives update on Rugani

Antonio Conte’s agent, Federico Pastorello has spoken about Chelsea’s summer transfer window.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with signing both Juventus stars, Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani.

But Pastorello has disclosed that it will be difficult for Higuain to join Chelsea this summer, adding that Rugani will be a good investment for the West London club.

According to him, it would be hard for the Blues to sign Higuain, because they already have strikers, Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata.

“I am looking at this situation from an external position. Rugani is a good investment for Chelsea even though I think €50million is too much,” Pastorello told Tuttosport.

“Higuain? It’s hard for Chelsea, they already have Giroud and Morata that cost them a lot last summer.

“Maybe Abramovich could make a gift to Sarri but Mrs. Granovsakaia is much more pragmatic than the Chelsea owner.

“And I’d be surprised to see Higuain join Chelsea. Maybe he will leave Juve but if he does, he could remain in Italy.

He added, “Pjanic is one of the best midfielders in the World and I think it will be a pity to sell him after the arrival of Ronaldo.”
