Transfer: Chelsea star leaves Stamford Bridge for another English club

Chelsea midfielder, Lewis Baker has left Stamford Bridge to join Championship side, Reading, until the end of the season.

Chelsea recalled Baker from Leeds United and loaned him to Reading.

Reading took to their official Twitter page, @ReadingFC, to announce the signing of the 23-year-old England star.

“ReadingFC are delighted to announce that @Lew_Baker has joined the club on loan from @ChelseaFC until the end of the season!,” Reading twitted on Wednesday.

Speaking about Baker, Reading manager, José Gomes told the club’s official website: “Lewis is a player of undoubted ability who, having grown up at Chelsea, has gone on to regularly represent his country at youth level and earn valuable first team experience on loan both in England and Holland.”
