New Chelsea boss, Maurizzio Sarri has settled for former Liverpool goalkeeper, Pepe Reina.
The Blues are tabling a £9 million deal for the Spaniard.
Reina, 35, only completed a switch to AC Milan earlier this month but could now be on the move once again.
The Sun, UK, reports that Sarri is keen for Reina to join him at the Stamford Bridge having worked with the Spaniard for three years at Napoli.
The newspaper also claimed that Chelsea are close to reaching a £9m agreement with AC Milan.
It reports that Sarri wants Reina to become part of his coaching staff once he retires.
Reina spent eight years of his career in the Premier League with Liverpool.
