Transfer: Chelsea, Juventus reach agreement on Higuain

Chelsea have finally struck an agreement with Juventus to sign striker, Gonzalo Higuain in this January transfer window.

This claim was made by respected Italian journalist, Alfredo Pedulla.

Pedulla was quoted by Football London as saying: “There is an agreement between Chelsea and Juve for the 18-month loan of Higuain with a buy-out option set in 2020.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri is desperate to bolster his attacking options in this January transfer window and Higuain is his top target.

Higuain is currently on loan at AC Milan but wants to cut the deal short to reunite with former Napoli manager, Sarri at Stamford Bridge.

The 31-year-old has struggled for form, with just eight goals in 20 appearances this season.
