Barcelona have reportedly withdrawn their interest in Chelsea winger, Willian. The Catalan giants and Manchester United have been linked with a deal for Willian for weeks.
Barca were said to have lodged two offers already this summer which were turned down by Chelsea.
Mundo Deportivo reports that United manager, Jose Mourinho was keen to get Willian deal sealed and was set to discuss his interest with club chairman, Ed Woodward over the Red Devils’ transfer dealings.
Chelsea want £60m for Willian and have already rejected an approach from Barcelona.
But the Blues appear to have priced the La Liga champions out of the market, with Barca now rethinking their transfer plans.
Catalonian sports outlet claimed that Barcelona have dropped Willian down their priorities list.
The club will now refuse to pay anything more than £31.2m (€35m).
United may be favourites to sign Willian but Mundo Deportivo claim Chelsea could reduce their demands – thus enticing Barcelona again – if they land Russian playmaker, Aleksandr Golovin.
