La Liga champions, FC Barcelona are interested in signing Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente.
Spanish newspaper Marca believes the Catalan giants are considering Llorente as a back up to existing striker, Luis Suarez.
With Munir El Haddadi departing the Nou Camp this month for Sevilla, the club now have one less striking option available to club manager, Ernesto Valverde.
The Barca boss is said to be keen on bringing Llorente back to Spain, and sees him as a suitable alternative for their striking force.
He previously worked with Llorente when the pair were at Athletic Bilbao in the past, so knows first hand the striker’s ability.
However, Barca may have to push hard for the Spaniard’s signature after a rise in form recently may encourage Mauricio Pochettino to keep hold of him.
Llorente bagged an impressive hat-trick in Tottenham’s recent 7-0 win over Tranmere, while the Argentina manager also brought him on as substitute against Manchester United on Sunday.
