Barcelona have given Liverpool the green light to sign £90 million French star, Dembele, according to Teamtalk. The Catalans hope to recoup the £90 million they paid for the player in 2017. Following Antoine Griezmann’s decision to leave Atletico Madrid for Barcelona, Dembele’s future at the Camp Nou now lies in the balance.
The newspaper reports that Liverpool have been alerted to the 22-year-old’s availability. Liverpool will only make signings if they can realistically get hold of top targets such as Dembele and manager Jurgen Klopp is understood to be a huge fan of the Frenchman. He scored 14 goals and assisted a further nine last season.
