Arsenal have submitted a €40m bid to Real Madrid for winger Lucas Vazquez, according to Don Balon.
Vazquez failed to nail down a regular shirt last season under Zinedine Zidane.
However, the Spain international could be set for a more prominent role under Julen Lopetegui, with the new Real boss having advised his club to reject the Gunners’ approach.
Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, is in the market for a wideman to give his attack another injection of pace.
The Gunners have also been linked with Ousmane Dembele, but Vazquez is seen as a more affordable target.
