Transfer: Arsenal sign contract with England forward

Arsenal have signed a new contract extension with England youngster, Tyreece John-Jules.

The Gunners disclosed this in a statement made available on the club’s official website Monday night.

The statement read: “Forward Tyreece John-Jules has signed a new contract with the club.

“The 18-year-old joined the Arsenal Academy when he was eight and signed his first professional contract in early 2018.

“Last season Tyreece made 17 appearances for our under-23s side, scoring six times and assisting two more. He also scored twice and assisted three times in four EFL Trophy games. He has regularly trained with Unai Emery’s squad and he scored in a friendly against Al-Nasr in Dubai earlier this year.

“Now an England Under-18 international, Tyreece often starts through the middle, but can also play as a shadow striker or on the left wing.

“Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Tyreece on his new contract and we look forward to his continued development.

“The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.”
