Europa league finalists, Arsenal have doubled their efforts to sell star midfielder Mesut Ozil this summer, according to The Sun, UK.
The club have decided to sell the ex-Germany international in an attempt to raise transfer funds.
Manager Unai Emery wants to overhaul his squad after a disappointing end to the season.
Arsenal failed to book a place in the Champions League for the third consecutive season after finishing fifth in the Premier League.
They also missed on their last hope of qualifying for the European competition after losing 4-1 to Chelsea in the Europa League final.
That failure has had a major impact on the club’s finances.
The newspaper reports that the club could be hit by a pre-tax loss of more than £50 million, meaning there is increasing pressure on Unai Emery to sell Ozil in order to increase funds.
