Arsenal are trying to sign Phillipe Coutinho from Barcelona on loan, according to Sport.
Club officials are meeting at the Joan Gamper match this Sunday and Raul Sanllehi has a good relationship with Barca.
The LaLiga champions are desperate to sell Coutinho, but may be open to sending him on loan.
The 27-year-old moved to Spain from Arsenal’s rivals Liverpool for £143million just 18 months ago.
But since becoming the club’s record signing, Coutinho has failed to show his best at the Nou Camp.
The Brazilian has been linked with a return to Anfield and Paris Saint-Germain, but could now be set for the Emirates.
